FAQ
What organisers want to know before they start
Short answers to the questions we hear most. If yours is not here, write to us.
On the day of the event
What if the internet goes down at the entrance?
The scanner checks tickets right on the device, without a connection, and syncs check-ins when the internet is back. A ticket used once does not pass a second time, even offline on the same device.
Which devices can scan?
Any phone or tablet with a camera, straight in the browser. There is nothing to install from an app store, and volunteers get access to scanning only.
How many entrances can run in parallel?
As many as you need. Each scanning device shows up separately and check-ins are seen centrally, by hour and ticket type.
What about someone who forgot their ticket?
Search them by name or email in the scanner and mark them as checked in. Walk-ins can be registered on the spot.
Can access differ by day or area?
Yes. Ticket types can grant access on specific days, and the scanner tells you at the entrance whether the ticket is valid there and then.
Tickets and payments
Do I get the ticket money directly?
Yes. You connect your own NETOPIA or Stripe account and payments go straight to you. We never touch the sales money and take no per-ticket commission.
What kinds of tickets can I make?
As many as you like: standard, VIP, early bird, per day, free or invitations, each with its own price, stock and sales period. Promo codes too.
Can I ask for different details for each attendee?
Yes. At checkout each ticket can carry the name and details of the person using it, with the fields you choose.
Are invoices issued automatically?
If you want them to be: through your own Oblio or SmartBill account, which also file them with e-Factura, or through the platform’s invoicing. You can also work without automatic invoicing.
Website and messaging
Do I need a developer for the website?
No. The site is built from blocks in the visual editor: agenda, speakers, partners, tickets, news. Pages come in Romanian and English, on your own domain.
I already have a website. Can I sell tickets there?
Yes. Add a link or button to the event’s ticket page, and the rest of the flow stays in A-Z Space.
Which address do emails come from?
Your own. You set up your organisation’s mail server, and tickets, confirmations and campaigns go out in your name.
Can I collect newsletter subscribers on the website?
Yes. Add the sign-up form to the site from the editor, subscribers confirm their address by email, and campaigns then go to their list.
Attendees and data
Can I import the guest list from Excel?
Yes. Upload the file, check the columns, and every person gets their own ticket with a QR code by email.
Who on the team sees what?
Each colleague has a role: organisers see everything, volunteers only the scanner, accounting only orders and documents.
Who owns the attendee data?
You do. We process it only to run the platform, never sell it and never use it for anything else. You can export it to Excel any time.
What numbers do I get after the event?
Sales by day, ticket type and channel, revenue, attendance and check-ins by hour. Everything exports to Excel in one click.
Getting started and pricing
How much does it cost?
You pay per event: a base fee, the same for every event, plus the modules you pick, priced by the number of attendees. The configurator gives an indicative estimate and the final offer follows the demo.
Can I use only part of the platform?
Yes. Each event has only the modules it needs — for example just attendees and check-in for an invitation-only gala.
How long does it take to start?
Your account and event are ready the same day once we agree the modules. The pace is set by building the site and the tickets.
Do you help with the setup?
Yes. When you start we walk you through the platform on your event and stay a message away, including on the day itself.
We will show you the rest in the demo
30 minutes, online, on an event like yours.
